✨ Sparkling Summer - Saturday
Saturday was the "big event" of the long weekend trip to Toronto for Willow and I.
In the morning, we went to the Vaughan Mills Outlet Mall. It's a huge place organized in a surprisingly simple fashion: just a rectangular path with shops all around. Walking around in a clockwise fashion also evokes a very interesting journey through a number of different "scenic environments". One of the major attractions in the mall is a Legoland space that hosts some kind of 2-3 hour experience. We scored some major savings at a 60% sale from Oak and Fork.
For lunch, we had some very interesting sushi at Toro Toro, located near the mall.
The afternoon consisted of a visit to Casa Loma. It was a really cute castle with a bunch of nice viewpoints over the city, too. The temperature was extremely hot, however.
Soon after that, we escaped to the safety of indoors at the Eaton Center for refreshments.
Then, the main event at night - watching a showing of the stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It was very amusing, overall, running at 3.5 hours and telling the whole story in one shot as opposed to being a two-show affair like when it was first produced in London. The special effects were quite awesome and magical.
After the show, we had some more food at a local handmade-noodles place before getting back to the hotel for some much needed sleep.
