🎸 Babies + Poison = Peace & Quiet?! YES!
Many people in my life are at that point where they've started families and have found themselves at the mercy of their newborns' and toddlers' cries for food, attention, entertainment or whatnot. Over the years, I've suggested the miracle placebo of "Poison", and, many have tried it on their infants and have reported happy results in regaining peace and quiet in their household!
Now, before you go thinking I'm a complete ghoul who would suggest murder, allow me to clarify. "Poison" is a song by Takashi Sorimachi for the GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) live-action drama adaptation. It's been widely reported in Japan that this song has the magical power to soothe crying infants. So why not try it? Best outcome = infants are calmed and focused. Worst outcome = they keep on crying. A good gamble for any desperate parents, surely.
Here's the documentary about how the song is a powerful soothing agent:
So, even the man behind the legendary song has become aware of the life-changing power of his epic rock ballad.
Therefore, if you are a parent who needs just one more tool in your arsenal, or if you know someone who's got a newborn in their life, then, please, consider keeping "Poison" (by Takashi Sorimachi) at the ready for those times you need a highly effective, albeit unorthodox, baby pacifier.
